Loco-tronic.com develops advanced train controllers designed to replicate real-world train operation as accurately as possible. By integrating with model railroad automation software, our controllers provide precise, realistic, and immersive train control for model railway enthusiasts and operators.
Our first product, the LMC-X12, is scheduled for release in Q3 2026. The LMC-X series is designed to seamlessly integrate with the iTrain 6.x model railroad automation system. Support for additional model railroad automation platforms is currently being evaluated for future releases.
A key advantage of the integration with iTrain 6.x is the continuous exchange of real-time operational data between the automation software and the train controller. This allows the driver to receive accurate information about the train’s exact position on the layout, current speed restrictions, and the status of upcoming signals.
The LMC cordless controller can be connected to a PC or server running iTrain 6.x via Wi-Fi or Ethernet (LAN), ensuring reliable communication and a highly realistic driving experience.

Multiple configurable tactile switches for direct activation of DCC functions.
Up to 2 hours of cordless operation using the integrated USB-rechargeable Li-ion battery.
